Chelsea defender William Gallas is considering his future at Stamford Bridge and could be set to quit the club, possibly, despite the changes currently taking place under new owner Roman Abramovich.
The Russian is putting some of his cash into player purchases, with Real Madrid ace Geremi and West Ham's full-back Glen Johnson already acquired at a cost of nearly £15 million and a £17m bid reportedly on the table for Blackburn's Damien Duff.
But that has not been enough to convince Gallas his long-term future lies at Stamford Bridge and he is stalling on signing a new contract while there is reported interest from Barcelona.
"I got confirmation about the interest from Barcelona, now their officials and my agent should have had a meeting," the France international told the Daily Star.
"It will all depend on Chelsea's reinforcements, as we will play in four competitions this season.
"I want to win something and I hope I can do so with Chelsea, but the door is not closed.
"The proposition from other clubs should be very attractive to me. I am currently on holiday and will make my decision when I get back."
