What a season it has been - has there ever been a more news-worthy season?

We've had bung investigations, FA rule-breaking, on-field bust-ups, off-field bust-ups and takeovers galore as well as the usual transfer gossip, gaffer sackings and kiss and tell's.

And not forgetting The Special One's cat, Gullit!

Unfortunately though the season's end means that Jimmy Hill's Sunday Supplement takes a leave of absence during the summer months.

Jimmy, Brian Woolnough and Fleet Street's finest have analysed and dissected the stories behind the stories all season and now take a deserved break.

After a Caribbean getaway and a spot of pre-season training they'll be back to do their best at bringing you the most intriguing stories from the world of football once again.
