I like the look of the newly established Leicester City side and if Rob Kelly can produce the heroics he produced last season, then we could be up near the play-offs. A lot of squads have a lot of good players on paper, but the game isn't played on paper and the 3 relegated clubs may not bounce straight back up as anticipated.
Ben Law, Leicester

I think people are being a bit negative about Sheffield Wednesday. Towards the end of last season they played really well and finished strongly. I don't think this season should be any different. I think Sky's prediction of 17th is harsh. More like 12-14th. We have made some promising signings and finally getting rid of the dead wood around Hillsborough!
Jon Justice, Worthing

I think Leeds were a very solid side last year with our only problem being midfield and the lack of creativity. However this summer, we have corrected this problem with the signings of Westlake, Nicholls and Carole and are strongly rumoured to be tieing up a deal for Andy Reid. Our defence was third best last year and our forewards are another championship manager's dream, and now our midfield is as good as anyones, I can safely say Leeds will be champions this season. WE ARE LEEDS
Richard Hughes, Leeds (City)

As a Crystal Palace fan I don't think people should dismiss us of forming a squad strong enough to challenge for automatic promotion this season. Last season we played under a manager who preferred a hoofball tactic, and all our attacks involved one player so it was slightly obvious to the opposistion what we were going to try and do. Now that Andy Johnson has left and Fitz Hall who played most of the long passes has gone, we should play more attractive and unorthodox football to help us acheive automatic promotion. We have a fantastic Manager who has made some fantastic signings in Carl Fletcher and Leon Cort who were the type of players we needed last season, and before September were likely to sign a new forward and another defender. So don't write Palace off.
Aaron Champion, Chessington

I'm a Plymouth fan, and looking forward to a new era under 'Ollie. Its been like a breath of fresh air since he arrived back in June. We're not going to run away with the league, but we're not gonna finish rock bottom either. Would be happy with an improvement on last seasons 14th place. GREEN ARMY!!!!
Andy, Plymouth

With a new manager and every player we've signed being over our old transfer record of 250k, and a few players returning from long term injuries I think a top half finish is not beyond us, but I don%u2019t think anything higher than 10th. Dean Marney will be our Player of the Season, come on you Hull upset The Baggies tomorrow.
Richard Hilton, Hull

I would have to agree with Chris Kamara's predicted table. I've lowered my expectations for Wolves & I'm predicting a boring mid-table finish. I do think that West Brom & Birmingham are favourites for promotion, but you never know in this league! But my prediction is Wolves to finish in the 11-14th region. Then next year we'll challenge for promotion!
Daniel Baillie, Grantham

Why does everyone season after season right off Preston? We have been in the play-offs for two seasons running and we are being predicted as mid table? Well this season I think Preston are going to be the surprise of the season again and with David Nugent back to full fitness I think there is no stopping us.
George Devers, Preston

So Howard and Nicholls have left the club. Nothing new there. That's the type of club we have always been. Run throught the list of Luton alumni and you can see the quality of player that we can produce form within. Matt Taylor, John Hartson, Kelvin Davis, Curtis Davies to name but a few. Don't write us off as relegation candidates. We have a few surprises in store!
Ian Huckle, Luton

I'm a Leeds United fan and I really hope we put together another strong campaign and make that final push for promotion, however I think a surprise package this season will be Cardiff City. They have made some top quality signings this summer and are sure to give most sides a run for their money.
Gareth Butler, Newport

I things at QPR are looking a bit shakey but I do believe that as the season goes on they will finish in good shape, maybe not play-offs but I think above the drop. Come on u Rs!
Matt Rostron, Durban

What Dave Jones has done at Cardiff this summer should send shock waves through this league. I believe that he has got the best set of players (on a very little budget) that this club has had in around 20 years. Cardiff City will get promoted, mark my words.
Gavin Davies, Cardiff

Well another season in and we have been written off already. I do not expect us to win it, but we finished 14th last season..... and hope to build this season, so how is it we are tipped to go down or finish just above the bottom three truly fed up with being labelled.
Rich Shilson, Plymouth

Andy Gray, Alan Mahon and Steve Jones have been brought in by Steve Coterill, and the two front men in Gray and Jones have notched up 11 goals between them in pre-season. Watch out for The Clarets this year, possibly making a late charge for the play-offs. Alan Mahon looks class, and is a Premiership-player - pure class. COME ON YOU CLARETS!
Pete, Burnley

Personally I think it's wide open this year. The Baggies have managed to keep their big stars and so will be there or there about. Blues,Sunderland and Leeds will be knocking on the door. But there is always one team who suprises and I think this team will be Coventry. I'm afraid Wolves can only expect a mid table finsh.
Pete Williams, Wolverhampton

After two successive promotions the whole club is really on the up again, & there won't be a more talented striker in The Championship than Freddy Eastwood. Southend for The Premiership!
Darren Posnack, Southend-on-sea

As a Norwich fan, we have had more disappointment in recent seasons than success. Nigel Worthington is still the man to turn our fortunes around. A play-off place is the best we can hope for this season provided our squad stays injury free and our away form improves dramatically on last term. Earnshaw's goals will prove vital to our success. Also looking forward to seeing Ipswich struggle this season! Predicted top 6: West Brom, Preston, Birmingham, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Norwich.
Adam Bailey, London

I think there are too many good teams to say who have a good chance this season, but of course I'm going to say Palace to walk it this time! We got one of the best managers there are! COME ON YOU EAGLES
Mike, Somerton

In pre-season Barnsley have shown the same class of play that got them to The Championship despite the loss of McPhail and Shuker. New signing McIndoe is looking good and he should provide the creativity and pace that is needed to survive in this league. Hopefully Nathan Jarman will play in the first team more and get a few starts early in the season. He just needs some first team games to show what a talent he is. I think we will do well this season As long as we finish above Sheffield Wednesday and above the drop zone I don't mind though. It should be an interesting season no matter what happens. Up the Reds!
Leigh Roebuck, Barnsley

Southampton are going to walk The Championship this season! The signing of Rudi Skacel was probably the best transfer for The Championship this summer and with the several other quality additions I can't see any other team standing up to them.
Elliot, Bognor Regis

There's a buzz around Sunderland again following Quinny's arrival and the current side is stronger than the side that won The Championship a couple of seasons ago. However, Birmingham and West Brom look to be far too strong for this league and both are capable of repeating Reading's success of last year.
Mick Fenton, Sunderland

I'm a Birmingham fan but I think we need to be a bit cautious this season. The Championship is a lot different style to The Premiership and it'll take us a few weeks to settle in. I think West Brom will run away with the league this season and if Preston can keep Nugent and sort out their defence, then they'll definitely be up there again along with Sunderland and Southampton. Play-offs for us though I'm afraid!
Lars Dudley, Birmingham
