Send us your views on the England B game against Belarus. What did you make of Theo Walcott's performance, Robert Green's injury and who stood out?

As a Spurs fan, I thought Lennon showed he is already exceptional but Jenas was poor and Carrick average. Our players still give the ball away too cheaply at international level. If Rooney is not going to make it, then our best chance lies with Gerrard and Lennon - if Beckham gets sent off! Owen is going to have to work hard in the next two weeks! He is NOT match fit. Hope the other two friendlies don't produce any more injuries!
Peter Green, Altea, Spain

The only performance which will affect England's World Cup plans was that of Carrick. Terrible performance which showed he won't feature in the team come 10 June. It leaves us very short to protect the back four and I only hope Rooney is fit else I'm afraid Gerrard will be asked to perform the holding role and we'll lose 50% of our best player.
Matt Janes, St Albans

Once again an over-estimated England side fail to perform, call it a 'B' team if you like, it again highlights Eriksson's incapabilities of management. I suggest England need not bother about practicing penalties for the World Cup, it doesn't look like you'll get that far this time.
Tony, Meath

We are getting carried away with ourselves if we think we will win the World Cup! We may get to the quarter finals/semis but we don't even have a good keeper - there's no Shilton in this squad or a Lineker or Robson! I don't think we are good enough to beat Italy, Holland or Brazil - take your pick from these three to win it! Sorry the truth hurts sometimes so dont let us get carried away!
Jim Dunsmuir, Ayr

I hope Eriksson will call his players back into the classroom and tell them to start scoring more goals and talk less. Because any performance like this at the World Cup would be a disaster for England.
Raymond Nash, London

A very poor performance - everyone said Lennon had a good game but he did not get one quality cross in all game. I thought Carrick was poor in his distribution and defensive work. England will have to learn to keep the ball if they are to succeed.
Marcus, Stockbridge

The result wasn't important but confidence wise for the team and the nation it doesn't look too good. Great game for Lennon which is encouraging if Becks gets sent off again!!! Gutted for Greeno but he wasn't going to get a game in Germany was he???
Richy Burns, Norwich

Lennon obviously played well but apart from that I thought Crouch was excellent, both Ashley Cole and Campbell did well as did Carrick. Also Walcott didn't look phased at all. The only real negative was Owen's relative quietness. The players most likley to be involved performed bar him and I think that means it was a positive game.
Tom, Wolverhampton

Bad result yes, but the outcome was always to see how these fringe players shape up and of course to let Owen get some match fitness. Lennon stood out, good skills, Theo was fast, pace like that would be better than a second rate striker like Crouch. When will Sven realise Crouch is Championship material, we have so many talented players. I think we can assume from tonight that Theo and Owen should be upfront, assuming Rooney can't play in the group stages.
Mohammed Zahid, New Malden

It may have been only a friendly and England may have been missing five or six first team players but let's be honest, England's C team should not have any trouble beating Belarus. Lennon and Walcott played well - the rest of the team were poor. Looking at the performance last night by most of the players I lost a lot of my enthusiasm for the World Cup - if our squad players can't beat Belarus what is going to happen against Brazil, Argentina, Holland or France.
David, Sydney

Let's not get carried away by this result. None of the midfield will start the first game against Paraguay, the goalie will be different and Owen Hargreaves will hopefully be nowhere near the bench either! Owen will improve with game time. Peaking now is pointless we need to build to (hopefully) the final a la the rugby side in 2003.
Phil, Manchester

Once again a disappointing game. Bad move to replace James. Good move to put on Theo. But overall a very poor game. I did expect more from the side. A shame. If this is what we have to come then I would book the home trip now, and skip the World Cup.
Mark Pruden, Peterborough

I think it is great how everyone is calling the England team a 'B' team. Half of the players that took part will be in the first game in the World Cup. I hope this is how all the World Cup games go too. The UK doesn't need to hear about this for the next 40 years again!!!!
Callum, Kincardine

Aaron Lennon for me stood out above everyone else, his pace, dribbling and skill with the ball terrified Belarus and he has done all that could have been asked of him. Ashley Cole had a good game, while you could tell Owen needs games to get back to his best. The result was not that important and it's Robert Green who I feel sorry for, his World Cup is over before it started, let's hope we pick up no more in the next couple games.
Stephen Dorey, Australia

Lack of possession cost England the game, people can say that it is only a friendly but if you can't keep the ball at this level, you will have no chance against a world-class nation. The only plus of the game was Lennon and Theo getting a good game. I still think that Peter Crouch is not good enough for England, if Sven wanted a big man who can hold the ball up then he should have had a good look at Dean Ashton and Marlon Harewood.
Emanuel, Sheffield

I think tonight was a case of England completely underestimating a very scrappy and hard-working Belarussian team. Feel terrible for Green, how unlucky can one be? But let's not get too carried away by the result tonight, there were a few players trying to regain fitness and others that just don't have a lot of experience just yet. I'm sure they'll be ready for the tournament.
Shaun, California
